Greetings, global cyclists and friends of Three Beefs Cycling! It's Beefward here, still riding the high from our recent International Relay Ride. This event wasn't just a ride; it was a powerful symbol of unity, bringing together cycling enthusiasts from different corners of the world in an unprecedented way.

The Concept

Inspired by the spirit of togetherness that defines our club, we dreamed up the International Relay Ride. The idea was simple yet ambitious: a relay ride that would pass through various countries, handed off from one cyclist to another, creating a chain of connected rides spanning the globe.

The Kickoff

Our journey began in Denver, where I, alongside a group of local members, set off on the first leg of the relay. After covering a significant distance, we passed our virtual “baton” – a GPS tracker – to our fellow cyclists in another country. This baton made its way through various landscapes and cities, carried by the wheels of passionate riders who each added their own story to the journey.

Global Participation

The relay stretched across continents, from the rocky terrains of Colorado to the historic roads of East Anglia, and beyond. Cyclists in Europe, Asia, and even parts of Africa and Australia joined in. Each participant brought their unique flair to the ride, sharing local landscapes and cultural highlights through live feeds and social media updates.

Challenges and Triumphs

Coordinating a relay of this scale was not without its challenges. Time zones, weather differences, and route planning all played a part in the intricate dance of logistics.
